Civil- Center for Freedom has been at the forefront of advocating for a strong and robust Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) in FYR Macedonia. The organization, led by Xhabir Memedi Deralla, issued a new appeal during a press conference on Wednesday, March 28th to Macedonian Members of Parliament to sign the Global Parliamentarian Declaration. Civil has already received several responses from MPs and has encouraged all 123 law makers to endorse the efforts to create a Treaty that will save lives during the July Diplomatic Conference at the United Nations.
The Macedonian parliamentarians that sign the declaration over the next few days will join the more than 600 signatories from around the world that have embraced the responsibility of making the ATT a meaningful reality.
