Control Arms is thrilled to announce the appointment of staff for its Secretariat in New York.
Jeff Abramson will take up the role of Coordinator, Eva Kouka has been appointed Communications and Campaign Officer, and Emma Ensign the Operations and Administration Assistant.
All three staff members will be in place by July 1st to ensure that the Secretariat is fully operational before the start of the next Arms Trade Treaty PrepCom in July11-15th.
With roughly a year to go until the final negotiating conference in 2012, the new Secretariat staff will be instrumental to the Control Arms Alliance’s efforts in campaigning for a robust Arms Trade Treaty that will save lives and protect livelihoods.
