Como lo exige el Art\u00edculo 17 del Tratado, la Secretar\u00eda Provisional convoc\u00f3 una Conferencia de los Estados Parte un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s de la entrada en vigor del Tratado.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">M\u00e9xico presidi\u00f3 <a href=\"https:\/\/controlarms.org\/csp-2015\/?lang=es\">la Primera Conferencia de Estados Parte<\/a> del 24 al 27 de agosto de 2015 en la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico, M\u00e9xico.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Nigeria presidi\u00f3<a href=\"https:\/\/controlarms.org\/csp-2016\/?lang=es&amp;lang=es\"> la Segunda Conferencia de Estados Parte<\/a> del 22 al 26 de agosto de 2016, en Ginebra, Suiza.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Finlandia presidi\u00f3 <a href=\"https:\/\/controlarms.org\/csp-2017\/?lang=es\">la Tercera Conferencia de los Estados Parte<\/a> del 11 al 15 de septiembre de 2017, en Ginebra, Suiza<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La aprobaci\u00f3n del Tratado sobre el Comercio de Armas fue una victoria hist\u00f3rica. Sin embargo, su impacto humanitario depender\u00e1 de la efectividad de su implementaci\u00f3n. As called for by Article 17 of the Treaty, a Conference of States Parties (CSP) was convened by the Provisional Secretariat one year after the Treaty entered into force.<\/p><ul><li>Mexico\u00a0presided over the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/controlarms.org\/en\/past-att-meetings\/\">First Conference of States Parties<\/a>\u00a0from 24-27 August 2015 in Mexico City, Mexico.<\/li><li>Nigeria presided over the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/controlarms.org\/en\/csp2016\/\">Second Conference of States Parties<\/a>\u00a0from 22-26 August 2016, in Geneva, Switzerland.<\/li><\/ul><p>The adoption of the Arms Trade Treaty was a historic victory.
