Earlier this month the Centre d’Education pour les Droits Humains de la Femme coordinated a roundtable for media professionals in Rabat, Morocco. There was a strong turnout of journalists and representatives of several news sources who discussed the Arms Trade Treaty under the theme of “no to violence, no to weapons, yes to dialogue”. It also included representatives of Amnesty International – Morocco and other human rights organizations.
This activity is the first in a series of actions that the Centre will undertake this month. They will also organize a public stunt on 27 June followed by a second roundtable that will focus on Members of Parliament.
