On 16 July 2014, parliamentarians attending the Asia Pacific Parliamentary Workshop to Promote Signature and Ratification of the Arms Trade Treaty adopted a plan of action to take steps to encourage swift signature and ratification of the ATT. In addition to the Plan of Action, individual country roadmaps were also created to look at strategies for disseminating information, increasing awareness, and making resources more available to facilitate signature and ratification of the Treaty.
